Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
Prices are as published, unless superseded by a price established and agreed between the Buyer and the Principal. All prices subject to VAT and any other taxes.
First order is to be paid in advance either by cheque or credit card. If an account is required then reference will be needed.
Payment STRICTLY 30 days from invoice date.
We reserve the right to charge accounts outstanding over 30 days a surcharge of 1.75% plus a daily interest rate of 3% above the Nat West bank rate prevailing at the time.
Shipping And Handling
Carriage:
1. Small orders - carriage £6.95 minimum charge.
2. Carriage will be paid by Ancestors on all orders over £295 Please feel free to zero the shipping charge on the checkout screen. (UK mainland only).
3. Overseas and off-shore islands carriage by quotation.
Delivery Schedule
We will make every effort to dispatch your order in 48 hours. International orders are generally received in under 30 days.
Ancestors of Dover Ltd (TimeLine) will not be held responsible for any delay in delivery for any reason beyond reasonable control. The Principal reserves the right to supply part quantities of an order and to deliver the balances at a later date. Delivery is considered to be affected, and the responsibility of the buyer begins, when the goods are received, either as part or whole of an order, by the buyer.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero .
Credit Card Security
Please do NOT email us with your credit card number. When we receive your order, we shall contact you to discuss payment options.
Guarantee
General:
All contracts, including sales contracts, contracts to deliver, etc. are between the Buyer and Ancestors of Dover Limited (The Principal). All, orders are subject to the following conditions of sale which override any of the conditions that are in variance with the ones listed below. Buyers must be legitimate trade buyers and international buyers (that is those not resident in the UK) must provide a valid tax ID number and a current credit reference sheet at the time of ordering.

Reservation of Title:
All goods remain the property of Ancestors of Dover Limited until paid for in full, but the risk passes to the Buyer on delivery.
Alterations & Substitutions:
Ancestors of Dover Limited reserves the right to supply goods which incorporate alterations from the previous design or catalogue illustration, and accept that such goods may be returned for credit, in perfect condition within 14 days, if not required.
