The Crown of Louis XV of France - Miniature
Made by Laurent Ronde - the French Crown Jeweller. In 1887 the Crown Jewels of France were sold at auction and although most pieces were distributed world wide, this crown was retained, set with imitation paste stones, and is on display at the Louvre, Paris.

The Crown of Napoleon Bonaparte - Miniature
Not wishing to be associated with the deposed monarchy, Napoleon Bonaparte chose to be crowned on 18th May 1804 with a wreath. However, to suggest ancient lineage he had a set of crown jewels made, which he named 'The Honours of Charlemagne', which were present at the coronation.
The crown is covered with ancient precious cameos and intaglios.

Tiara of Empress Josephine - Miniature
This impressive, elegant tiara is reputed to have been made specially for Empress Josephine, first wife of Napoleon Bonaparte, who later bequeathed it to her daughter Hortense. It is set with 1040 diamonds, mounted on yellow gold.
